Alcester Army Cadet Force

We are located at the rear of the Grieg Memorial Hall, Kinwarton Road, Alcester, B49 6QT

Our parade nights are: Monday and Wednesday 18:45 hrs to 21:30 hrs.

We are a youth organization open to boys and girls aged 12 (Year 8) to 18 years.

As one of eight detachments within B Company, Warwickshire and West Midlands (South Sector) Army Cadet Force.

That offers training and experience around a military training theme, including adventurous training, Duke of Edinburgh award scheme and Btec courses, at the same time as promoting achievement, discipline, and good citizenship, opportunities to attend weekend camps throughout the year to expand their knowledge and skills and to participate in inter platoon and county competitions. These camps are predominantly residential leaving on a Friday evening and returning on a Sunday afternoon and once a year, normally within the Summer Holidays, we run our annual camp which consists of between 8 to 10 days at a designated MOD training camp within UK put all there training and experience to the test alongside having fun with friends and activities.

All ACF counties have a full time Training Safety Advisors to ensure all training and activities are conducted as safely as possible, whilst still remaining exciting, challenging and fun.

When it comes to action, excitement and adventure, it’s hard to find anything that beats the Army Cadets.

All training staff undergoes a Criminal Records Bureau check and have to pass rigorous training and instruction by the regular army before being passed as competent to train and instruct cadets. We are also affiliated to our local Alcester branch of The Royal British Legion and participate and support our local community and activities.
